ME-CAT 2017 HIGHLIGHTS

On 6-7 December in Bahrain, the Middle East catalyst community came together at ME-CAT – Middle East Catalyst Technology Conference, to network and share insights on how to maximise success through catalyst innovations.

The conference took place under the Patronage of H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil, with the support of the National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA) and Bapco as Principal Sponsor.

The conference was kindly sponsored by ExxonMobil, Axens, Grace and Advanced Refining Technologies (ART).

The booming global catalyst market (forecast to reach 33 billion USD a year by 2018) ongoing developments in refining, petrochemicals and chemicals as well as the influence of environmental factors increasing the demand for higher performance catalysts were all key discussion points during the conference.

We had the privilege to hear from Bapco, Saudi Aramco and Adnoc Refining Research Centre sharing their experiences and knowledge.

We would like to thank all the Speakers, Delegates, Sponsors and Exhibitors for your participation at ME-CAT 2017!
