OpEx MENA 2016 - Call for Papers
4th Operational Excellence in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Conference & Exhibition
6 & 7 December 2016
Abu Dhabi, UAE
If your company is interested in presenting a paper at OpEx MENA 2016, please contact us
Introduction
OpEx MENA is widely considered to be the premier event for producers, solution providers, technology companies and EPCs to share cutting-edge practices that will enable companies to achieve best-in-class performance. The event was launched in Abu Dhabi in 2013 and is now held around the world including Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Former Soviet Union.
Attaining operational excellence is never a single horizon goal, but a multi-horizon one, being reset on each incremental improvement step achieved towards the unattainable goal of perfection. in the past some have tried to encapsulate operational excellence as the best-in-class performance in the areas of order perfection, manufacturing schedule compliance, yield and overall equipment efficiency (OEE), however, it is fair to say operational excellence is a combination of many achievements contributing to best-in-class operations which distinguishes you from your competition.
What is interesting though, is that companies which demonstrate significant operational excellence, have a high degree of visibility into their operations and business in real time, and empower their employees with data, information and procedures transparently in a role-based manner to assist in fast, accurate actions which lead to consistently good decisions - not ‘once in a while’ great decisions.
The OpEx conference series has been designed to create a cross fertilisation and exchange of ideas among peer companies, vendors and “synergistic” industries. it is this cross fertilisation which we believe will drive us to even greater levels of operational excellence improvements, allowing companies to innovate in the areas of ‘people’, ‘process’, ‘assets’ and ‘technology’ best practices.
