It is PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited’s great pleasure to support Asia Downstream Week 2018 in Bangkok. We are pleased to once again co-host the international refining & petrochemicals community at this important annual event and we would like to thank the organisers for their continuous interest in the Thai downstream industry.

Over the years, we have focused on and discussed the various challenges refining and petrochemical businesses have been facing, as well as the new norm resulting from various complicated situations such as low crude oil prices, global economic slowdown and more stringent environmental regulations. There are various uncertainties which no one can forecast precisely. As one of the key players in the petrochemical industry in the region, we believe that making ourselves resilient to tolerate and cope with the changes will be the best way to face the situation. We strive to implement continuous innovation across our entire portfolio of assets, as well as adapt the business strategy in the constantly evolving increasingly digital environment.

We feel co-hosting this conference will create a communication platform for new and updated technologies, best practice sharing and discussions for technical solutions; all key elements in preparing ourselves to be resilient to the changes.
